The Humanities Alliance at the Graduate Center was a collaboration between the Futures Initiative and the Teaching and Learning Center. Locating the program within existing centers allowed for sharing knowledge, relations, and resources, facilitating the institutionalization of lessons learned and their application in multiple spaces.

At the program’s core lies the Humanities Alliance Fellows: Doctoral students of The Graduate Center serving a two-year fellowship, assigned to different CUNY community colleges.
